There will be a short 2-3 week delay in Phase 2 of website transition to
XWiki as we do some additional work to the roles in Community Groups. A
brief review of those proposed changes can be found here:

http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/ogb-discuss/2009-August/006512.html

So, the currently published Phase 2 date of Sept 14 below is no longer
valid. We will post a new date for Phase 2 of the website transition
shortly. The content migrations currently under way will continue
throughout September.

hey ...

Now that Phase 1 of the website transition is complete with the move to
the new authentication system, we scheduled a target date for Phase 2 to
move the site's content to XWiki -- Monday September 14th.

Before the final move, we will conduct a series of content migrations to
the XWiki beta site in August, and then we'll ask the community to check
their pages there. We built translation/migration tools to help with
this move, but people should expect some amount of manual editing after
the migration as well. So, your active engagement in the migrations and
preparation beforehand is highly recommended.

Please watch for mail from Michelle this week outlining the migration
schedule and explaining how to prepare your content so your pages move
as smoothly as possible. Also, Derek will send mail this week explaining
how the features map between the current site and XWiki.

Follow up on website-discuss.
