Interested students should go to the application page - http://groups.google.com/group/google-summer-of-code-announce/web/guide-to-the-gsoc-web-app-for-student-applicants and submit their proposals *NO LATER THAN 24th March*. We would like to host 5 projects this summer, though those numbers are entirely at the discretion of Google's choosing and likely to be based on the quality of the applications [1]. Best of luck!
