The OpenSolaris Live Media project[1] is pleased to announce that we've integrated support for USB flash memory devices to the project's "livekit" construction kit, so now users can create either CD/DVD or USB images. An image containing the SUNWCXall metacluster will fit within a 2 GB USB flash drive, prices of which are recently down to about $30 US. The kit currently works with Solaris Nevada build 56; updates to work with later builds are anticipated soon.
