opensolaris.org had now moved out of beta, having fixed the main issues to come
out of the beta testing. Frank believed it now paved the way for fully open
development for the project.

although it should still be considered beta code. This port included the basic
functionality of editing fdisk partitions on Solaris.

Glynn Foster announced [9] the successful list of projects for this year's
participation in the Google Summer of Code, with students being added to the new

Laura Ramsey posted [11] an update on what's going on at JavaOne this year,
May 8th-11th, including a CommunityOne day, and OpenSolaris representation in
the .Org pavilion.

Glynn Foster posted [12] the latest meeting minutes from the OGB, along with an
audio recording, with the election of Rich Teer acting as Chair, Alan
Coopersmith acting as Vice-Chair, and Glynn Foster being secretary. Alan posted
[13] a proposal for re-bootstrapping the original list of contributors, stating
that there were concerns over the inconsistent selection across communities. Roy
Fielding argued [14] that if the OGB didn't approve the list then the current
OGB is nullified and that the process would be back to step 1. After some
discussion, the OGB voted to approve the initial list [15]
