This month's topic: "Xen, Paravirtualization and Solaris. What can a Hypervisor do for my favorite operating system." Our presenter, Stuart Maybee, has been working on operating system internals for over 25 years. For the last 10 years, he has been a member of various Solaris kernel teams at Sun Microsystems. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado. The presentation will cover a look at a paravirtualized Hypervisor environment and what is involved in preparing an operating system for execution in that environment.
