Project Crossbow is a major networking innovation in OpenSolaris 2009.06, but there are other significant additions: ? High availability networking through IP Multipathing has undergone a major update ? Improved performance for sockets and new facilities for pluggable sockets ? Enhancements for observing network traffic Attend this briefing and hear from Steffen Weiberle, Systems Engineer and OS Ambassador, Sun Microsystems, present Networking in OpenSolaris. The briefing format encourages discussion and participation from attendees. All attendees will get the book OpenSolaris Bible by Nicholas A. Solter, Jerry Jelinek, and David Miner.
