Tim/Bob, In an email last month from Rich Green you were both cited as leading the review of how our architectural processes operate. With the advent of OpenSolaris, we currently have two very different forums for project approval and/or architecture:
PSARC and the OpenSolaris community Given that the review you'll be undertaking has the potential to impact the way in which projects are undertaken for both Solaris and OpenSolaris, will your design be open for comment from the community before it takes the shape of recommendations for implementation? I suppose a more pertinent question is, is there a perception that the recommendations that come out of your design will apply to both OpenSolaris and Solaris or just one (Solaris) and not the other (OpenSoalris)?
