Long-standing ARC conventions put the case number in the subject line of
ARC-related email. Between that and the [osol-arc] tag inserted by
mailman, there is precious little room in the Subject: line for actual
descriptive content and I find it to be a significant burden which
detracts from my ability to actually review cases.
Since there are redundant header fields which can be used for list
filtering, I'd like to request that, in the interest of improving the
productivity of ARC members, that the opensolaris-arc list be
reconfigured to cease introducing automated [osol-arc] tagging from the
subject line of messages.
