The question was raised at Wednesday's PSARC meeting as to whether all
of the open issues have been resolved. If not, then the case may have
been closed prematurely.
Specifically, the question of whether this can be accomplished by
changing only the low-level implementation of printf() did not seem to
be closed. Glenn Fowler's comment suggested that this was possible, but
it was not clear if the project team accepted this.
What is the project team's position on this question?
