If you have concrete plans to backport it, shouldn't you be asking for patch/micro? Or did you mean to say that you don't have concrete plans? I'm not exactly sure how relevant this is to the current case but it somehow seems important/relevant... Now that you've broken out the PHY code into specific files, is there any reason to not pursue an architecture that supports pluggable PHYs? Or if when MII comes back for a higher commitment level, is this something that we should be looking for and expecting then? Darren
