specified below. The project has not yet delivered. I'm reopening the
fasttrack and setting the timeout for 06/04/2009. I've placed the
updated materials in the case directory.

sasinfo enhancements for HBA and expander representation
The sasinfo utility is provided as part of SAS HBA management
project(PSARC/2008/687). Originally it provided subcommands for Host
Bus Adapter(HBA) ports, remote ports, logical units. As the project
copes with the associated SAS device management framework, the need
for more granular discovery is identified to help an admin discover
SAS topology through the utility.
The enhancements are to add
- HBA discovery to properly report dynamic HBA port creation/removal
of SAS HBA.
- explicit expander layer discovery to better handle SAS
configuration with multiple layers of expanders
- target port centric topology view.
Note that the remote-port subcommand which used to cover both expander
devices and target ports is removed and the logical-unit subcommand
remains the same.
