Let me be more correct: - There are 28 countries in the EU - There are 19 different sets of Euro coins (2 sets for Italy as Italy and Vatikan don't share the same coins). Well known Euro ignorants are: - GB (they believe they need to drive on the right side when they change ;-) - Czech republic - Danmark .... Others like to get the Euro. BTW: Greece did give up the oldest currency (Drachme) for the Euro.
