sure... but not being an arc member, and not wanting to stand in way of generally good forward progress, i don't really feel comfortable "mandating" anything... hence i was viewing this more as a constructive discussion and i was trying to suggest something that i thought might be an "easy" interim solution (and i could be wrong about the "easy" part) before a real solution is delivered (which could realistically be never since i don't really have any authority in this process, nor do i have a budget with which to fund future work). ed
