Yesterday in the inception meeting for 2007/132 I made a comment about something being private which seemed to make Ed uncomfortable. There was not time to explore that issue then, but now I think I understand it. I didn't realize until just now that Volatile is in the Public set of interface classifications as opposed to the Private set. Now that I understand that, I agree that it would not be appropriate to take a Public interface Private. For our interfaces which are Volatile, it appears we can change or remove them at any time for any reason, which was what I wanted.
