Hi Joerg,

I am not sure, but the opensolaris tipc installation is exactly the same as
we are mentioning in the PSARC case.
So, going in the same direction as it is for opensolaris.

Pl. suggest, so that we can ask file a upstream bug and get it clarified
from the opensolaris guys.

Also, I noticed that there are few packages in /opt/SUNWxxx folders which
are installed exactly the same as what SUNWtipc is doing. Packages like
SUNWtvnc, SUNWvgl. Not sure if those were some special cases.

Let me know what needs to be done.

Thanks,
~Vivek R. Titarmare

If this is true, then you need roo privileges in order to compile the
source.
So what is the reason for this strange directory location?
