I asked both you an Mahmood in the last 6 months about xlock and xscreensaver. Perhaps I asked the wrong question. Perhaps I misunderstood the answer. Yes, by default dtsession (which is being left behind along with the rest of CDE ;-(, implements and enables root unlock by default. Gary..
