Yes indeed, the main page of the project says "Page last updated: Thu Feb 22 09:59:27 PST 2007". However I found no code updates or mailing list activity since 2005. I also tried contacting the maintainer via email (mike_schiffman at hotmail.com) 2 weeks ago and received no reply so far. Based on this, I would describe the upstream project state as not in active development, with questionable level of support. My understanding is that by the virtue of porting libnet to opensolaris, I am signing up to own future updates. A better choice would be someone from Solaris networking group, but in the absence of volunteers, let's assume I am "it". -- daria
