It would also be nice if customers reading the "usual documentation" (customers reading manuals? nah....) would discover this as well. I'm not sure apropos will help them locate Xorg -configure..... Maybe just a stub man page for xorgcfg that says "This program has been removed, use Xorg -configure instead" or somesuch? (I know this isn't a normal part of the EOF process, I'm just contemplating what might be helpful to our users.) (Our "normal" EOF process is a bit different these days... used to be you'd get notification of pending removal in a minor release at release FCS -- e.g. if you're going to remove something in S10 it was notified in S9 FCS. But now don't have a clear release progression from S10 to anything else, and we have notifications happening in updates that customers are much more likely to skip than they were the major^Wminor releases of the past...) -- Garrett
