Hello,

I am using OS under VirtualBox on my laptop. I am having a very weird problem
booting OS under power saving settings (with low cpu freq).

My laptop has Intel Core2Duo T7300 (operating at 2Ghz at maximum) with Windows
Vista 32bit and VirtualBox 2.1.4.
I usually put my laptop cpu at the lowest possible speed and voltage when it's
running at 800Mhz. Now, when I try to boot up OS with that speed, OS goes past
the GRUB screen, looks like it's doing usual booting process for like 15
minutes (hard disk busy for a while and cpu stays at 100%) and then, suddenly
there are no cpu or hdd activities. I tried waiting for more than 30min but no
avail.

This does not happen (i.e. it boots up in 5 min) when my cpu is in performance
on demand state, where the cpu speed can be up to 2Ghz. This happens regardless
of whether my laptop has power connected or not. If I force the cpu speed to be
lower when it's plugged-in, it will do the same behaviour.

Additional information: VT-x enabled. 1024MB RAM allocated.

Thank you,
Woongbin
