I'd like to make the following minor updates to the case. 1) I forgot to list -b (balance) as one of the options that I'd like to remove from audioplay and audiorecord. Boomer implements "per application" volume as a monophonic value, so I'd like to handle this in the same way that we handle the port selection (-p). (I.e. we'll remove it.) Users can adjust master balance settings using mixerctl or gnome-volume-control.
2) I forgot to list the audiotest application in the exported interfaces table. It should be /usr/bin/audiotest Uncommitted This simply plays a test file on each of the possible audio channels (excluding, for the moment, the LFE channel. But that's a bug.) We don't support record or mixer testing yet. I can file a separate PSARC case if folks would rather deal with it that way, but it seems like these issues should be non-controversial enough to handle as a case update. Thanks. -- Garrett
