Indeed but it is our Rome not someone elses.

Also would we really want a differently named command depending on what 
the GUI toolkit of choice is ?   Hard to tell since GNOME is the only 
label aware desktop system available for OpenSolaris (I'm ignoring CDE 
since it is effectively EOF and Solaris 10 only now).

As I said I wouldn't hold up the case for a different name.
