I am sponsoring the Netbeans 6.8 fast-track. The timer is set for next
Tuesday Oct. 20. This case is the lastest release of Netbeans and the
case material describe all the significant changes made since the last
release. There are two things to note about this release. First, there
is reference to some "removed binary compatibility methods". These
methods were only ever used internally and not exposed to the public.
Second, there is a reference to switching from supporting JavaFX 1.2.1
to 1.3 in the next micro release. I have asked the project team for an
explanation of what the means from the developer standpoint. In theory
that should not hold up this case and is more a question for the 6.8.1
case but if it is going to cause a problem I want to note it now.

Materials are in the case directory in the inception folder.
