Just because the ONNV and/or other consolidations do that doesn't mean that Solaris itself must ship with N versions of GCC and/or Sun Studio. 4.3.2 should just become a set of unbundled pkgs; 4.3.3 should be what you get by default. Folks who need 4.3.2 could go get it from a special repo where old software goes to die. Nico --
