So there is an intent to backport this to Solaris 10 along with the Xorg 
  wacom driver too ?

Is the case really complete without the Xorg wacom driver ?  Is there 
anything useful that can be done on the system without a user building 
wacom on there own ?  It doesn't feel complete to me.
