Christine: Which options and features do you need/want?

Garrett: I used Roland's phrase "[...]so out of order and partial
putbacks at this granularity should have no adverse impact on the
functionality and behavior of the system as a whole[...]". Does this
phrase even apply to individual options? The XPG4 part this case
refers to is already ready for integration into ON since 2006 sans -u
and could be integrated ASAP and the new in-place replacement feature
could be delivered quickly after that. Or do we have to deliver only
binaries with the full set of features?
