Is flash importing some new interfaces to make that possible? libXv?
VPDAU?
OpenGL? something else?
For H.264 video, we use VPDAU if available.
Awesome. Would support for Intel's VAAPI be considered in addition (or
instead, since a VAAPI->VPDAU bridge exists) since that would allow you to
take advantage of a wider range of hardware (especially important on
netbooks which are CPU constrained).
Adobe do support VAAPI and Broadcom HD Video Accelerator
on linux. But as I know VAAPI is not available on solaris.
For full screen mode, we use OpenGL if available.
We will detect these libraries runtime.
The current 10.1 beta seems to be missing the OpenGL code. I thought it
was present in previous builds, is it being reworked?
Yes.
OpenGL support will be re-added in the upcoming beta2 and finale release.
