If any "unbundled" (not in /release, or /extra) code is to be deliverable into /usr (as opposed to /opt), then we may get into registry issues. (Well, IPS' exclude dependencies could be used to manage conflicts, to some degree, but perhaps only if repos can figure these out automatically, and since we're talking about multiple repos, I think implementing that would get complicated.)
