We've compiled putback logs for the putbacks that were made in between
our 20050818 (snv_20) and today's 20050909 (snv_22) builds.
They are up on the Nevada community page here:
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/onnv/putbacks_20050909.html
They contain the bugids and files affected for each putback, with
links to the files in question (via the OpenSolaris source browser, as
well as bugs.opensolaris.org links for the relevant bugids).
Are those going to be renamed to "OpenSolaris ON" putback logs in the
future,
or are you planning to include the putbacks to the other consolidations
once
we get our bits out there too? Should we include sending our
changelogs to
you for consolidation in our plans, or should we just plan on
per-consolidation change logs?
Yes, sorry - I should have given it a more descriptive page title...
"ON" should definitely head that once we start getting other
consolidations on the site. (That was my intent in attaching it off the
onnv community)
I'm only planning on doing these putback logs until we get some more
fully automated ONNV deliveries. Once kupfer puts back the changes to
Nevada to allow for that, then we can have automated putback logs for ON.
I think we should just plan on per-consolidation changelogs since
different consolidations may have different things they want to make
visible. I don't see why we can't use the same reporting mechanism
though - and in fact I think that's probably a pretty good idea since a
uniform style/report would only be beneficial for everyone viewing them.
