Sorry for the delay in the release of build 23. I ran into a bad panic on Monday afternoon which I've been debugging. This is an addendum to my previous email, and contains another important known issue for BUILD 23 ONLY. If you don't plan on compiling build 23 from source, then you can ignore this.

12. This build (23) MAY PANIC if compiled with the new Sun Studio 10
compiler (released 2005-09-12). Subsequent builds (24 and beyond)
should work properly, but we have seen some panics with build 23
on a AMD64 machine. The compiler will compile the code cleanly,
and the BFU archives will BFU and boot properly - but under DTrace
testing, the system has panic'd (kcf/crypto NULL pointer derefence
in 64-bit mode, and 'invalid opcode' in 32-bit mode). Note that
this was only on one of our test machines, and wasn't reproducable
on several other x86/amd64 machines, and was NOT seen on our
    sparc machines.

cheers,
steve
