Hi Experts,

This is a - probably unrealistic - question regarding the
possibility of
building a user mode solaris, something that runs as a user program. what i
would like to know is, exactly how much unrealistic this is. im not imagining
a full fledged, complete port, and something like the popular user mode linux
which needs particular kernel support - but a simple, old fashioned port of
the core kernel, such that a bare minimum source framwork gets compiled to run
as a user program that loads a root file system from a normal disk file and
loads a few basic programs like init, getty, shell, ps etc etc. this would be
ideal for someone interested in kernel to study further, debug further, tweak,
etc. hope you hear your views on this....
