It's impossible for external developers to get a clean package build.

If SUNWcryptoint is in usr/closed/pkgdefs, you (well, external
developers) get complaints about the dprov driver files, which are in
the proto area but not listed in any package.

Exactly: even the sources are delivered.  And just removing the sources
from the open tree to avoid a build warning seems the wrong approach.

Ultimately though dprov doesn't actually belong in the ON consolidation. It is actually part of the STC2 test suite and should be in there. The correct way for us to fix this problem is for dprov to move out of ON into STC2 where it really belongs. That requires that we include the header files for kcf in the deliverables. We aren't quite ready to do this.

I know this is annoying you but PLEASE just leave this bit alone for now changing it will break our automated testing in PIT, and I really don't believe the disruption this will cause is worth the short term gain.

What I'll do in return is increase the priority of getting dprov into the STC2 consolidation where it belongs, that means including the kcf headers in Solaris proper.
