It isn't an example driver it is a dummy hardware used for testing.
Logically dprov is actually part of the security/ef test suite in STC2.
However given that we don't yet ship the header files for the kernel
part of the crypto framework (we will be soonish) it needs to be built
in ON rather than the STC2 gate.
In that case, it will move to a separate packate of its own at that time.
No it doesn't because STC2 isn't packages it is a test suite.
We could make the split now (and avoid the build warnings described) and
move the code (and package) later when the kcf headers are delivered.
I'd rather this was left as it is just now. I understand your desire to
sort this out but it is my group (likely mostly me) that will have to
deal with the fall out of these changes. Unfortunately you can't see
the impact this change will have to the testing internally. The sooner
we get the STC2 gate out onto opensolaris.org the better in my opinion.
