Howdy,
While attempting to install Solaris 10 6/06 on a server with an Athlon 2400 CPU, the kernel paniced [See the attached gif for the panic string] about 80% into the installation. I checked through the open bugs on opensolaris.org, and saw several bugs related to "hment_remove." All of the bugs I reviewed were in the closed state, and from what I can tell the Solaris 10GA kernel contains a fix for a bug similar to this. Since this issue is present in a 6/06 installation, I was curious if this is a new bug, or if this is a bug related to something I didn't see? Is there by any chance a way to get around this bug (I kinda doubt it, but thought I would ask)?
