I did never write this, I was always talking about code in separate files.

I see no limitation except that you need to meet the requirements from
both CDDL and GPL in this case. Note that Sun does e.g. publish binaries from
the ON sources under the "OBL" and that ON from my memory contains both
sources under CDDL and under GPL (grub is e.g. under GPL).
If Sun lawyers believe that it is no problem to poblish binaries from
GPLd code under thr "OBL", then I believe that I cannot be wrong...

I don't see that you did explain why there are incompatibilities in the cases
I mentioned. Please note that you are just inverting the problem. We are
talking about whether a combinarion of CDDL & GPL is possible, you did tell me
first that sources are not the problem but binaries are, now you tell me that
I try to talk about binary distributions only. What I did alwas say is that
the combination CDDL & GPL is possible under several conditions and in case you
do it, binaries do not cause extra problems.
