Traditionally, updating open source that's bundled with Solaris
requires either a fast-track or closed-approved-automatic case.  The
purpose is to notify other groups and flush out anyone who might be
depending on the code.

Things *might* be more complicated if significant changes are
involved, but usually going from version 1.N to 1.N+1 isn't a big
deal.
