Hi all,
I have a problem opening the Solaris Administrator Console from a windows
machine using the ssh clients.Please help me how
can I get the dispaly.
My problem is :-
-I have connected to some solaris system using the vpn from windows
system through the cygwin/secure crt clients.
Now if I try to run /usr/sadm/bin/smc &...it throws the
folllowing mesage
It appears you are attempting to run the graphical Solaris Management
Console from a terminal which does
not have a suitable 'DISPLAY' environment. Please check your 'DISPLAY'
settings and that the user identity of
this terminal has access to the X server of this display.
What the Display variable has to be set with?
