server received a "Fatal error, resetting interface, flg 1" alarm, and server was generating SCSI errors, see below. Fujitsu was contacted and stated: The SCSI card has duel jobs: 1) the card is communicating to the disks which is working fine and; 2) it is communicating to something else that is having the problem. They do not know what else it is communicating to. They do think this is hardware related. Also, the console stopped showing the SCSI messages about an hour after the case was generated. Fujitsu recommends: 1) Find out what qus3 is attached to; 2) Find out if qus3 is terminated; 3) Find out what was happening around 7:00 AM - was something being moved around? Any changes being made?
I have looked but was unable to find any thing. This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-code mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/opensolaris-code
