I don't know what "this" means (was there an attachment to your message? if so, it was stripped), but if the packet is something sent locally, then you may well be looking at the effect of hardware checksum: the header checksum seen on the local machine isn't "real." Or perhaps you've set the /dev/udp udp_do_checksum ndd tunable to 0. > PS: 10.20.31.83 is NIC e1000g2 on my computer, but still i have to use snoop > -d e1000g0 to see it. It is clearly bound to interface e1000g2, but snoop -d > e1000g2 will not show it. I can't quite tell what that means ... please provide configuration details. -- James Carlson, Solaris Networking <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sun Microsystems / 35 Network Drive 71.232W Vox +1 781 442 2084 MS UBUR02-212 / Burlington MA 01803-2757 42.496N Fax +1 781 442 1677 _______________________________________________ opensolaris-code mailing list opensolaris-code@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/opensolaris-code
