Hi, ALL,
On my machine I have 2 hard drives. I also have a Linux installed.

The partitions are as follows:

/dev/hda1 - boot partition with GRUB type 82 (Linux)
/dev/hda2 - swap partition type 83.
/dev/hdd1 - root partition with Linux type 82 (Linux)
/dev/hdd2 - OpenSolaris partition type bf (Solaris)

During the installation of Solaris it never asked what will be used as a
bootable hard drive/partition. The installation assumed that the system will
boot from the hard drive the OS will be installed on. Therefore, OpenSolaris
GRUB was installed on the /dev/hdd MBR, making it harder to correctly setup
environment.

Would it be possible to somehow identify the boot hard drive partition during
setup and modify it with the GRUB installation? If this identification fail,
then setup program can ask user to identify this parameter or even confirm it.

Thank you.
