I shake my fist at it .. everytime I see it raise its ugly head.

Nuke it from orbit. Its the only way to be sure.

The ae driver works awesome :

bash-4.0$ ifconfig -a

ae1: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2
        inet 192.168.35.42 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 192.168.35.255

Anyways ... keeping the old Sun Ultra 2 alive and some other gear like the
SunBlade 2500 would be a very good thing.
