I haven't looked at that code, but in general, Solaris 10 has the 5.10 branch of the kernel, OpenSolaris has the 5.11 branch. Many changes to the 5.11 branch are not backported to 5.10 - Sun does that when customers or ISV's report & escalate bugs through the various support channels, or when a change is needed for a feature Sun is backporting to the Solaris 10 update releases. Sources to the 5.10 branch are not open source nor published on the web. (All the work to make them open sourcable happened after Solaris 10 was released and the 5.11 branch was started.) They can be purchased from Sun, but under a restrictive closed-source license since they include sources from third parties covered under such licenses. -- -Alan Coopersmith- alan.coopersm...@sun.com Sun Microsystems, Inc. - X Window System Engineering _______________________________________________ opensolaris-code mailing list opensolaris-code@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/opensolaris-code
