Making some (more) of the table entries conditional on the symbol being defined allows getconf to compile on more systems; specifically, that (plus macports libintl) allowed compiling Solaris getconf (which knows more symbols, plus has the -a option) on Mac OS X.
Attached were the changes. Maybe it sounds silly...but I'd just as soon even optional functionality were more common across platforms, esp. platforms I use. :-) -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
