Thank you, lw31248. The next error I receive when I run 'ipmitool sdr list' is 'Could not open bmc device: Nosuch file or directory Get Device ID command failed Unable to open SDR for reading'.
I found a bug report detailing the causitive factor as a licensing & redistribution issue, & a workaround which requires files to be manually copied from the Solaris Express iso. I know there are new licensing terms and would like to know how to confirm authoritatively that such actions are permittable.
