Joerg, really - it is *you* who can make it happen as long as you are
willing to be a team player and co-operate with community. So far you've
just drop some random code and you are expecting someone else to do the
hard job for you. In this case it is not worth anyone's time and it
would be easier to contribute from scratch.
I've seen your attitude here many times and my observation is that if
you would put a little bit more effort you would have integrated star
into /contrib years ago, and got integrated other of your code as well.
All there is to it is to play according to rules and put a little bit of
effort.
Unfortunately so far you've wanted someone else to do it for you and
noone really bothered...
I'm not trying to criticize you, I'm only trying to say that if you
really want to integrate some of your code into Open Solaris - you can,
and it is mostly up to you.
