Folks, Does OpenSolaris have one central mechanism for storing info, warnings, and errors? When I look at /var/log folder, I see a bunch of files besides "messages."
I need a way to consolidate, on a nightly basis, all the information, warnings and errors that are generated at the system. This includes errors from hardware, services, networking, etc. I would appreciate your help in understanding how I can achieve this. If there are any code snippets out there, it would be even more appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
