The server functions as NAS to Windows/Apple/Linux clients via CIFS using MS AD credentials. I’ve recently had two occurrences of /var/adm/messages:Oct 30 11:56:06 ^Mpanic[cpu0]/thread=ffffff003d94fc60: /var/adm/messages:Oct 30 11:56:06 genunix: [ID 655072 kern.notice] ffffff003d94f590 unix:mutex_panic+73 () /var/adm/messages.0:Oct 29 11:07:20 ^Mpanic[cpu2]/thread=ffffff003f64fc60: /var/adm/messages.0:Oct 29 11:07:20 genunix: [ID 655072 kern.notice] ffffff003f64f590 unix:mutex_panic+73 () My expertise with mdb is rudimentary however, a stack dump from the cores shows > ::stack vpanic() mutex_panic+0x73(fffffffffb948960, ffffff0978f63ed0) mutex_vector_enter+0x446(ffffff0978f63ed0) rrw_exit+0x1e(ffffff0978f63ed0, fffffffff79e5cb4) zfs_rename+0x936(ffffff096a477900, ffffff11bc90e75c, ffffff0978f63e00, ffffff1174263e80, ffffff09ab5abf08, ffffffffc0051fe0) vnext_rename+0x70(ffffff003f64f800, ffffff11bc90e75c, ffffff0978f63e00, ffffff1174263e80, ffffff09ab5abf08, ffffffffc0051fe0) smb_fem_fcn_rename+0x37(ffffff003f64f800, ffffff11bc90e75c, ffffff0978f63e00, ffffff1174263e80, ffffff09ab5abf08, ffffffffc0051fe0) vhead_rename+0xd7(ffffff096a477900, ffffff11bc90e75c, ffffff0978f63e00, ffffff1174263e80, ffffff09ab5abf08, ffffffffc0051fe0) fop_rename+0xc5(ffffff096a477900, ffffff11bc90e75c, ffffff0978f63e00, ffffff1174263e80, ffffff09ab5abf08, ffffffffc0051fe0) smb_vop_rename+0x140(ffffff096a477900, ffffff11bc90e75c, ffffff0978f63e00, ffffff1174263e80, 0, ffffff09ab5abf08) smb_fsop_rename+0x259(ffffff1174263960, ffffff09ab5abf08, ffffff1195c87790, ffffff11bc90e75c, ffffff110b412038, ffffff1174263e80) smb_common_rename+0x3af(ffffff1174263960, ffffff1174263ba0, ffffff1174263d90) smb_com_rename+0x3e(ffffff1174263960) smb_dispatch_request+0x455(ffffff1174263960) smb_session_worker+0x4a(ffffff1174263960) taskq_d_thread+0xb1(ffffff10e2058940) thread_start+8() Can someone please assist me interrupting where the fault may lie and what I can do to progress a fix?
