libbc != libc.
In illumos its located at usr/src/lib/libc/port/gen/memalign.c
If you build from source you can single step. I suspect compiler flags at play
here, but I don't know. I'm not in a position to test your compiler and
Solaris 10. (TBH, this is the first post on this list I've seen in a long long
time -- I thought it dead.)
