I'm not sure it's accurate to say that ACPI CA is <I>full</I>
of non-portable bit-fields; there are a few fields used to access
unused items in the multiple APIC table.

It doesn't strike me as likely that this explains why soft-reboot does
not work Sunil's system.

Note that the we're still adding ACPI functionality in Nevada; the
current functionality in b16 is on par with S10GA.
