Yeah, I think this is the key goal with Teamware, and other distributed
source management systems. Providing a way for *any* developer to
develop features on their own branch in their own time without needing
an account is one of the crucial features. CVS has the suckiness that
you need an account to contribute effectively, unless you have up to
date anonymous readonly mirrors [1]

[1] Something that the GNOME project really sucks out - the mirrors are
    always broken, and CVS has the tendency to label branches as 'forks'
    in many occasions.
