What's even more interesting is that Ubuntu is very much aimed at non-technical users, yet developers are flocking to it... if we'd got that balance right with the Java Desktop System, we might still be pushing the Linux version as hard as the Solaris one :/ (We have a plan to redress the balance in future versions, though-- I just hope we don't end up going too far the other way!)
